The PetSafe Remote Spray Trainer PDT00-11234 is a combination hand-held remote and dog spray collar which is very effective in training your dog to stop bad behaviors.
When your see your dog engaging in unwanted behavior (up to 300 yards away), simply press the remote control and your dog will get a spray of citronella delivered from the collar. Up to 4 levels of intensity.
Dogs don't like the smell - and quickly change their behaviors accordingly. While it's a powerful scent to the dog - for humans it's a very mild lemony type of smell. Made of natural ingredients and safe for your dog.
As dogs mature and go through adolescence - you may find they will resist the "Come" command. Simply give the command, wait a second or two, and hit the remote. Your dog will quickly learn that coming to you is better than the citronella.
Another excellent feature of the PetSafe Remote Spray Trainer is that it includes a "tone-only" button - so you can alert your dog with an audio signal that the behavior is unwanted. If the dog persists - then you administer the spray correction.
