- Four 3-Volt Batteries - we will ship you a new battery every 3 months so you can simply replace your dog's collar battery when the new one arrives and never worry about a worn out battery.

Smart Shopper Tip for Battery Bundle
After years of experience and use we agree:
- Choose a bright colored nylon so it is easier to see and less likely to be misplaced.
- To ensure that you never have a dead battery, batteries should be replaced every three months. Some dogs test the system more frequently than others and can drain the battery quicker, but even our most vigorous testers can safely follow the 3 month schedule.
- Older dogs, and dogs which don't challenge the fence often may be able to go 4 months without a battery change and we have a special plan for the 4 month cycle.
- All batteries have a shelf life. We recommend that all batteries be used within 12 months of receipt.
