Control of circumference of action is quite precise and does not seem to vary with conditions. Dogs (three boxers) figured out protected couch area with just introduction to sound trigger points. A day of suspicion through room quickly turned to ignoring couch's existence, even when not wearing collars. Only one of three ever triggered a correction.
